1 can Del Monte Lite Fruit Cocktail in Extra Light Syrup – 13 g sugar – Internet sites say that the cake needs the sugar syrup. I am going to try it without but so far haven’t
2 cans Raley’s Fruit Cocktail in Peach and Pear Juice from concentrate (15 oz) Put all in the pan you are using after you spray it with some type of oil.
Pour Vanilla Cake Mix into pay right over the fruit cocktail. It is very hard to find things with NO cane sugar, but I thought I had until after I made it and really examined the ingredients and say it had 20 g of cane sugar, so I will go back to the drawing board.
Stick of Butter – Cut into thin slices and put on top of the cake mix
Bake in oven for 55 minutes. There are lots of recipes for dump cake as I am not good at writing baking directions.
